About Eddy

16 years of calm behind the wedding day

Master of ceremonies Eddy Kips laughing, in morning dress

Eddy Kips is a wedding master of ceremonies and the face of Huwelijkssuite. Since 2010, he has guided couples in organising their wedding and on the day itself. The count now stands at more than 100 weddings.

What do all those weddings have in common? They are all different. Different people, different venues, different wishes. That is why Eddy always starts with you: how your day should feel, what absolutely has to happen and what definitely should not. Only then comes the timeline.

On the day itself, Eddy keeps an eye on the timing, coordinates with the venue and suppliers, and makes sure every moment happens at the right time. The day before, he gives you a call, with an eye on the weather forecast. And he agrees on a secret signal with the couple: one wink, and he quietly takes care of it.

“I am there, but never in the way. Mothers often want everything to be perfect, and they worry. But after three times, they see that I am always one step ahead. Then the shoulders drop, and they simply enjoy the day.”

A coach breaking down at the church, a sudden thunderstorm: Eddy has handled it without the couple noticing a thing. Read those stories in Wedding day first aid.
